I'm Just Not On the Ball...

Okay, I missed yesterday for two reasons: The internet was screwing up and I'm just plain lazy. So, I will once again post double today. I won't make missing days into a habit, I swear. So, let's start off with a rant.

Rant #95 – Nines and Twos Don’t Go Together
I was at King’s Island with my friend and I saw this really good-looking girl getting off The Monster. Next to her was seated a guy who looked like a cross between Carrot Top and a ferret. He had this Jew-fro thing going on and it looked ridiculous. I motioned to them discretely and told my friend to look. He said “Dude, she’s hot.” Then he saw who she was with and said “Dude, she’s with him?” I nodded. It made no sense. We watched them as they got off the ride and went out the exit, hoping that maybe they were brother and sister, or cousins, or anything other than a couple. We didn’t see anything that made anything definite, but we agreed that they definitely weren’t siblings. So here’s my question: How the fuck does a guy like that get a girl like her? It’s like Jessica Alba dating a chimpanzee. It just doesn’t make sense.

Now a video from the comedy group Elephant Larry.

This video actually taught me how to play Minsweeper... Yea...

This is an old video, but it's awesome. Improv Everywhere (I posted something by them before) is a brilliant group of people that set up situations to make people laugh. Most of the time, people don't know what the hell is going on, but they think it's cool anyway.

That's one of my favoites. One of YouTube's favorites, too. This went viral a year or two ago.

So, I know this commerical is old, but I saw it for the first time in a while yesterday.

In other news, I just got laid off. Which sucks. This economy, man, I'm tellin' ya... But I'm not gonna bitch about it... much... Here's an album to download. Two, actually. Kamelot released a two-part epic based on Goethe's "Faust." And it is epic indeed. In case you don't know who they are, Kamelot is a symphonic metal (meaning that it's melodic and atmospheric) band from Florida. But anyway, these albums do a great job at telling the story, but you don't need to know the story to understand the songs. So, here's Epica (the file is big, so it's in two parts: Part I, Part II) and The Black Halo. Listen and enjoy.

And that's it for today. I'll post some news and other stuff tomorrow. Peace.
