Konnichiwa

So the title means "hello" in Japanese, though I'm sure most of you know that. As to why I wrote it in Japanese, I'm taking a Japanese course at Sinclair. So far (after one class) it's pretty cool. And easy. French was like a foreign language to me... (oh wait...), but Japanese seems like it should be easy pretty much, to make a sentence you just need to put whatever the subject is, followed by "wa," which has no English meaning, then the verb or adjective, and at the end "desu." Simple. No conjugations. No tricky tricks.

Now, a story about how people are stupid. Specifically people who work in airport security. Apparently, Nick George is a terrorist. Oh wait, no he's not. He's a student who's learning Arabic through flash cards so he can translate for news networks... A simple mistake...

Okay, so today is the 8th anniversary of 9/11, but I don't really think anything else needs to be said on that topic... It was 8 years ago. We don't still look at December 7 and say "Damn Japs." So I think we should only look to the future and fuck the past.

That was my unofficial rant for today... Now for an official one.

Rant #10 – Everything I Know I Learned From Wikipedia
Alright, I know their intent was good, but an online encyclopedia that any stupid fuck and his brother can edit? C’mon. Sure, some of the shit on there is probably true, but I’ve seen people get on their just to fuck with it, adding in fart jokes to various pages. Does anybody remember when Wikipedia stated that Sinbad was dead? It’s ridiculous. They should just have a group of admins to update the information. I don’t care how many millions of articles there are. And WikiAnswers is a joke. I’m gonna ask anyone happening by (again, any stupid fuck and his brother) how many used cars there are on the market. That’s one I just found on the main page. I guarantee some stupid asshole is going to post a response that says “a lot.” There are some really stupid questions out there too. Does beer have fat calories? Look on the fucking Nutrition Facts label and quit bugging us!

I heard they're going to stop letting just anyone update/edit Wikipedia. Good thing, too. We won't have anymore of these screw-ups. I had an article of the top ten mistakes, but I can't find it now... try Googling it...
